DivX to AVI converter - Anyone?

Hi all

Title says it all really. Im trying to convert a DivX file to AVI so that i can transfer it onto my PS3.

Anyone know of any free converters?

You shouldn't need to convert it, the PS3 should have the codecs for it.

The PS3 supports divx straight out of the box. Just stick a divx file on a memory stick in the folder "VIDEO", plug into PS3, either play direct from the memory stick or copy over.

Also note - AVI is not a codec, its a container. Divx is a codec that is typically stored in an AVI container. Therefore Divx to AVI isn't possible.

Cheers, simple as that. I just added an extra folder in my library before searching for it across the my network.
