Anyone know anything about this? Been sent the pics from a mate from another forum. As he points out, a blind turn across the bridge with traffic maybe approaching from the right?

Asking for trouble?!

can only be for noise I suppose, given that that is a residential(ish) part below that point

Noise containment.

Apparently some of the panels will be transparent, how successful these will be I find hard to imagine. However, on TF days there is a speed limit on that section anyway.

Which everybody rigidly adheres to... hehe

Must admit I've never actually seen anyone joining the track there. I know it does happen, but it seems to be pretty quiet.

Chris, it's the thinking man's choice when you've got a JK. You can then (hopefully) using the track based barriers on DH when it's really busy. I use that entrance about 70% of the time, as the car park is a joke now, with lots of "show and shine" merchants there (bonnets up comparing the colour of their hoses and turbo sizes) cluttering up the place.

I use the Breidscheid entrance/exit as a matter of routine. I fear the new barriers will restrict vision when joining the track as I try and look as far up as possible to determine when it's safe to enter. When lapping, at the point of turn-in at Breidscheid, the entrance/exit is not visible (to me), so I don't expect it to be as much of an issue. I just need to now put theory into practice....

Good point Harj. If you look right up the hill, to the exit of wehrseifen (sp?), you can often see what is on (or about to be on) the part of the track you are about to pull on to. If you then stay to the right of the track upon joining it, you are on the exact opposite side from the ideal (and only real) line to get up ex-muhle at any pace.
