Has anybody ordered tickets thorugh Tickets 4 U before ?

I actually called lemansrace.co.uk and they passed me through to some other dept who i ordered the tickets from.

i got my confirmation email the other week, checked through it and it says tickets will be sent out 2 weeks prior to the event.. is this normal?

Doesnt seem as though it gives much space for error should there be issues with delivery, or the wrong tickets are sent etc ?

Anybody have experience with these guys ?

used tickets-2-u with no problems but not tickets 4 you

I'm pretty sure you mean ticket-2-u. I've use them, no problems at all and have ordered again for 2010. They are pretty closely connected to Travel Destinations (www.lemansrace.com), it is the very same folks who answer the phone.

Basically, Travel Destinations do the package trips and Ticket-2-U do the ticket only orders.

I'm assuming you guys are also waiting until 2 weeks prior to event to receive your tickets ?

Yes, that's normal and nothing to worry about. You might get them a bit earlier than 2 weeks but the ACO don't normally send them out to agents etc until 3-4 weeks before the race

Some people already have their tickets but most agents and the tourist office usually send them out in May.
