After a quick look at the list of topics on page 1 of 'the lounge', most topics seem to be about people whinging and crying about the problems in their life, or how the country is falling to pieces.

So a thread for all you happy people whos life is looking good this year for whatever reason.

I'm pretty pleased with the way this year seems to be panning out so far. I've started seeing a girl I've been friends with for 4 years, which has just seemed like a natural progression in our relationship, and looks like it could actually be meaning relationship for once. Also work is picking up for me after 3 years of struggling since I finished university.

One downer is the football team I support are looking likely to be relegated, but hey you can't have everything can you?

Anyone else feeling smug? biggrin

2010 is going to be superwicked for me.

Really, really superwicked.

New motor, more lolly, some exciting racing, plenty of jaunts abroad.

Plus spring seems to have started here...

Exciting!

That's the spirit!

I was going to mention the fact that summer is coming but forgot and got lost in my own self satisfaction!

Going very well so far, looks like getting a lot better, so I don't have much to whine about! I still will though.

Looks like we're going to win a LOT more business in 2010 than we did in 2009.

Not as much as we would like, of course, but, hell, it's an improvement.

Nice.

Well started by getting dumped over the phone and the house getting semi-submerged by a faulty ball valve in the attic within the space of 4 days ...

....But yes, my house will 99% cetainly be sold by the end of the month and after that I will have the money to get my car and house sorted and maybe go travelling for a bit smile

Actually, I think the weather has a lot to do with our cheerfulness.

I mean the spring.

Soon we shall all be drinking beer outside and ogling crumpet.

Let the good times roll.
