Hi

Im looking for a good bmw specialist for my new E36 M3 evo.
Around wales or south west.
Also how do prices vary, ive been quoted £570 - £770 for Inspection I or II and how much and frequent are oil services?

Any common problems that crop up with this model I should put some cash aside for?
I know the Vanos issues.

Appreciate any feedback in relation to this, and thanks for any advice from you owners out there!

Any idea on what these people charge for the servicing and oil changes?

Thanks for your replies, you can't beat word of mouth!

Most specialists charge between £45 and £60 per hour. You will have to call them for specific prices on your car for what you need.

Oil Service is probably £200 max

Service I could be £550 and Service II slightly more.

Just an oil service isn't much more than £120 if I recall correctly, and the link below illustrates the "inspection" service costs where I go.

I'll be heading to Forza West in Chepstow. They have a good reputation and seem very cometitively priced. They have prices on their website.

Jeez Matt, bleed him dry why dont ya?

biggrin

Trust me, Stuart's pricing is quite keen enough, he keeps a very close eye on the competition

(and when I'm doing 1k miles/week I REALLY appreciate that!)

Needless to say Forza gets another thumbs up from me, though it's in Chepstow (5 minutes off the bridge, quite literally), not Newport as previously suggested

Another big thumbs up for Stuart at Forza West....Would not take a BMW to anyone else. My wifes 530 Touring gets services there and my old T350T and now I have an E39 M5 that will also be going to Stuart...top bloke, great work and very resonable.
