Pretty much. Most people will blow up their account before ever sniffing true success. Beginner's luck is the worst kind of luck because you start to think you're a trading god and take bigger and bigger risk. I've been lucky in that I've never been lucky IYSWIM.A few people do it successfully.

I've seen so many retail traders come and go, it's quite depressing really. I should place bets with myself who will be trading two years down the line.

Because they don't want to get up at 5am every day. If done right, you could be working "part-time" and making a very nice living out of it. I know a handful of people who've attained this success. You can tell they are not bullsAnd if you do know what you're talking about, why not get a job?
