24.5 mm square .. at this juncture I don't really care what colour it is, white would be good, white divided into little squares would be perfect. I've had to cut a tile out of my shower to fit a new mixer tap, and I can't fine one that's even the right size! (ex homebase, about 4 years ago)
My google skills failed to find anything similar, any ideas anyone? I really don't want to have to re-tile the whole room!
thanks
John

Check under your bath or shower panel. It is accepted practice to leave a few spare tiles under there when doing tiling! My google skills failed to find anything similar, any ideas anyone? I really don't want to have to re-tile the whole room!

Otherwise, how about getting a glass company to make you up a few pieces or mirror cut to that size, if you get a few and replace a few more tiles, it may look ok.
I presume you do mean about an inch square? not 24.5CM?

get a sheet of mosaics, they're mounted on fabric so you should be able to adjust the size a little to suit
your chances of finding a tile 254mm square are remote at best
yes, trust me to pick the only size tile that was unique, never to be made again ..I'll check out mosaics, thanksyour chances of finding a tile 254mm square are remote at best
no need to beat yourself up too much
don't think that buying the same typre of tiles 6 months later will give you an invisible patch - you'll notice a difference in colour and size in any case
worth bearing in mind in the future is to keep half a box of spares in the loft if you redo the bathroom

funny you should mention that .. I'm so crap at tiling I can't believe I bought exactly the right amount, and I never throw anything out, but I'm damned if I can find any leftovers.don't think that buying the same typre of tiles 6 months later will give you an invisible patch - you'll notice a difference in colour and size in any case

The plus point with doing this is that you'll never need them.

To the OP: if you have or a friend has a wet tile cutter then you should be able to make a larger tile fit the size you want by cutting it down without ending up with a ragged edge.

As you can't tell the difference between mm and cm I can't believe it either

Don't cut a larger tile as the edges of most tiles are bevelled and the cut sides will stick out like a sore thumb.
Alternatively talk to a glass artist and they can kiln you up a nice ornamental glass one!

Fused glass, looks pretty!
We've got a kiln but I suck at glass work and my mum is far too ill to do it again.
