Nexen Tyres....Any Good?

I'm looking for a set of tyres for the 993. I was recommended the Nexen 6000 today but have never heard of them. Was thinking of going for Contisports.

I see that they are relatively cheap.

Has anyone had experience of the Nexens?

Never driven on them myself but Nexen is a name I seen pop up on a number of Aussie car forums. I know that a sprint series in WA use them as a control tyre.

No idea how solid the tyre walls are or what you are used to using.

a mate had them on his 34 GTR.

He changed to P Zeros.

I'd stay away from the Nexens. The ContiSports are a very good tyre.

Hard wearing. Cheap. Acceptable in the dry.

"Fun" in the wet.

Have gone with Conti sports for the new speedlines.
