I've been working oversea's for months and spotted a Z4 M Roadster for sale at the local dealers a while back, after plenty of emails with the dealer and finally getting home on Friday I got a chance to drive it yesterday.
06 plate Interlagos Blue with nearly every option ticked. Individual Sepang Bronze nappa leather which I wasnt too sure about before viewing but looks great in the flesh.
Had a good 40 min blast with the salesman egging me on! Was on some very narrow and twisty roads which was a bit daunting for a first drive.
I've owned some pretty quick cars, modified Impreza's mainly but I was genuinely shocked by how much power this thing has. Relentless surge with solid handling and a fantastic soundtrack, and the thickest steering wheel ever! Back to the dealer and the deal was done, should of picked her today but needed a small part for the MOT so fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Cant wait to get it out on my own, will probably wait a few days before turning the traction control off though!
I'm a semi-pro photographer so there will be plenty pics when she appears smile

I'm not going to sleep tonight!

Can I proffer a little advice? Wait a little longer than that to switch the TC off. OK it`s intrusive in a straight line but will save your bacon over the first month or so.

(Wet weather + Zed) - TC = bad times.

Got her home yesterday afternoon smile Runs like a dream, only thing I'm not keen on is the gearbox has a very long throw, could do with a quickshift.
I live on the doorstep to some of the best driving roads in the uk so gave her a good run today.
In the first 95 miles I only met 5 cars and a truck! Averaged 22mpg which I didnt think was too bad after running Impreza's for years. Turned the traction control off a few times on some tight uphill hairpins to get a little feel for it, was a bit hairy due to all the grit still lying around from the recent snow but nothing a bit of opposite lock didnt sort out. It definately saves you on the quicker stuff though so I'll be leaving it on!
Heres a few snaps from this morning -

The wind was incredible at the highest point near Tomintoul, not long before I got there this truck had been literally picked up and dropped well off the road!-

Awesome cars and I completely echo the points re TC. Turned mine off whilst cruising on Wednesday, somehow managed to engineer a massive burnout pulling out of a junction and nearly slid across to the other side of the road. Heavy foot plus forgetting TC off = scary times. These are seriously powerful motors through those back wheels. Sometimes you need a little reminder.

Lovely car and nice pictures.
That road looks a lot like the Snakes Pass.
