Dog friendly hotels....Scotland
Discussion
Evening all...
Well the Easter holidays are only a few weeks away, and I fancy getting away for a few days (2 days during 12th-16th April)
Does anyone know of/used any decent dog friendly hotels or B&B's within Scotland? (preferably West Coast for a change)
Looking to book for two adults, and one dog
Thanks

Seem to remember someone from Onich( few mile south of Fort William)( found him -it's nigelonich) posting about caravans -and Hoseasons just outside Fort William ( nearer Banavie ) are also dog friendly ,as are some other ones ( remember them as being Hoseasons too ) further up the great Glen toward Fort Augustus .

I find this book quite useful.

If self catering is of interest, have a look here
The food was cracking.
Good for short breakfast / bedtime walks in the grounds.
Something really weird happened that weekend though. It was a treat for Steph and she was absolutely gobsmacked that, by pure chance, there happened to be a BHC round on at Doune that very same weekend! ... and just down the road! ... who'd have believed it?
Cromlix is recommended by Meg.

Cheers,
Eric

+1 for Dunkeld house, nowhere near the West Coast I know but very dog friendly.
Was up there today for lunch and a pint (fantastic Ember 80)
Superb walks for the dogs right on your door step.
If you fancy a wee activity or two they have a Land Rover experiece, clay pidgeon shooting & fishing all within the estate.
lovely place
