im trying to put a age on my car any one got build number cars between r170 and r180 and any chance of year of redgister ie early 2005 or late 2004 as this would be a help towards my identity check on car cheers

Not too sure about the build numbers but if you check the label on your seatbelt it should tell you the year of manufacture....not a guarantee but this used to be a good way of dating imports.

surely the registration document would show you ?

mine is 169 and is 2003

thanks for posts so far but unable to use any interior as a refrence as car was originaly used for racing so interior is not origional ive had letters from noble to help but im looking for xtra info my build no is r178 so im trying to find out if the build numbers around my car still exist hope you can help as this may be the help i need to put the car on the road

mine is r138 and that was 1st May 2004, if that helps.

As said above why don't you consult the V5 - as it's your car I presume you have this scratchchin

from his comments Im guessing its never been registered and thus he needs help in getting a V5 for the first time.... if he cant prove age he will have to face current emmissions which it probably cant and also end up on a Q.

andygtt has hit the nail on the head the main problem it may go on a q plate so at the moment im working together with alot of greatly apreciated help from the factory to try and put this car back on the road as its age plate
