dyeing leather seats

Anyone got any experience (good or bad) of changing leather seat colour ?

what did you use, did it work, did it rub off all over your clothes etc. etc.

looking at going dark colour to black. Don't think black to cream, for example, would be too successful ?

ETA just looked at your profile, car looks very similar, is that Tahaiti Blue ? what colour trim are you doing ?

Don't do it!
I bought the kit in order to recolour my interior and while it worked well on the leather it does not stand up to any sort of wear and tear on the vinyl bits like the backs of the seats or arm rests etc!

point taken but only doing leather seats, vinyl backs I can recover ?

Many years ago you could get paint for vinyl trim, remember doing my Mk1 Escort dash and door cards

I eventually had my seats recovered in all leather £250 each though ouch, but i hate paying rip off prices at the 2 well known "car dismantlers"

I'm just doing the seats. Picked up some cerb seats which are all leather so sould be OK. If it doesn't work then may may have to get them recovered.
