Button is in the same position as Denny Hulme in 1968. Number 1 on the car, but not won in that car.

He didn't have to it was obvious, he firstly read them in order of winning Championships in McLaren cars and also why exactly would he include a list of drivers who won their championship in another teams car?

After rewatching and paying attention properly this time, he clearly states championship winning cars with iconic names and not just cars, therefore no need to mention Alonso, and I am a muppet.(Still I bet he didn't give him a Xmas card this year...)

The whole automotive team plus the cars plus Lewis And Jens were at Goodwood a short time ago filming promo stuff. The helicopter pilot deserved some kind of accolade for unbelievable flying skills.

No pics as McLaren chaps very politely asked for the lucky general public viewing to down cameras.

I remember Mika Hakkinen driving the McLaren F1 and nearly toasting the clutch. He showed the car 'maximum attack', and no respect!!

dear god, that was awful, Theres some cheesey early 90's powerpoint music over the cgi bit, then first guy fumbles his words, then Ron follows up by being incredibly dull and manages to make Mclarens history sound dull and sterile. It got worse from then on, have none of them spoken in public before?

Sadly, they're all reading in public. I'd like to hear them off-the-cuff, but unexpected and off-script comments aren't Ron's style, I'd imagine

there were even some piss poor scripted jokes, the bit about the replacement parts was dreadful "can you imagine if lewis or jenson had to pit stop and were told the parts were on back order?" All delivered in dreary monotone with zero comic timing. It might be a damn good car but di Montezemolo is a heck of a lot better at selling his.
