They don't look radically different.

I hope they improve the terrible load times though.

You don't think having customisable weather is radically different this time? Not just wet & dry but himudity, wind speeds, directional and temperature changes which all effect the track in different ways.

I like the sound of the default series to come with the game this time, not just generic hatchbacks but this time an F1 series, Off roaders, a Historic F1 series and did you not spot the others, GT Endurance series, Hill climbers (radically different approach) means finally a sim that doesn't need looped tracks. Which will open the modding world up to rallying and other hill climbing tracks that don't need a double back loop to the start to work.

The more mods/tracks/cars you have the longer it takes to load. The obvious answer to that is to spend loads of money on a faster PC.

Good to see it's not just me that noticed these bits, and not just me who is hugely excited by rf2. biggrin

Until I can afford solid state hard drives, the load times will remain slow for me. frown

But the in game screenshots from earlier look amazing.

I don't have a solid state drive, just a fast quad core CPU and lots of DDR3 RAM. Besides a 64GB SSD would be too small hehe

Bit more here as well on RF2, including interview - http://www.racesimcentral.com/news/2010/03/rfactor...
