Does anyone have any experience of the above, good or bad? Is it worth the £999.99?

Any other Warranty related advice?

This warrenty is very good but it is cheeper to take it out for two years If you intend to keep the car that long. It should also give you assistance cover. some parts ie audio are excluded depending on age this is key if you have PCM (Phone&Satnav). The underwriters will sometimes negociate on terms so worth a try.It saved me a lot of troble(and £1000) with my previous c2 when I had a A/C motor problem.

I have a master plus with my 993TT and have not made a claim. Its always a difficult decision because if you don't make a claim it's money down the drain, but if you don't take the warrantee and something goes wrong you'll kick yourself. One word of advise: make sure you read the Terms & Conditions; eg Warrantee is invalidated if you don't service the car according to the manufacturer's specifications, etc, etc...

Remember also that if the car is UK supplied, with a full Porsche documented history and relatively young then Porsche are pretty generous with their goodwill scheme....

Have fun Steve (I'll look out for you).

Keep an eye on the oil levels for the first 2k miles... I got through 2 litres.
