S80 D5 185 remap

I am considering having a S80 D5 185ps remapped, I am told they can add 40BHP and 90Nm, plus add 4 to 6 MPG. Has anyone had this done and if so would you recommend this.

It depends how old it is...newer ones can be done by Volvo; I've posted something about it on here before. Otherwise I've got a mate who chips/tunes cars who I can give you the details of if you like?

I'd say the figures you have a re about right...the 185 is supposed to go upto about 220, not sure on torque figures though. They are significantly quicker though!
