Advice on new rockers

Popped off the offside set of rockers to find that 2 have lost their pads, which hopefully is the cause of the annoying tick identified.

Problem is sourcing new ones. Between others posts of the new alloy rockers having different oil flow, and there being a 'dodgy batch' about it's not clear to me where to go and which ones to buy. I'm rally after just the 2 to replace the broken ones. I have just rung Paddock spares who say that they've not had rockers in for over a year now, and I could not get hold of Clever Trevor or V8 Tuner this afternoon to see if they have any in.

Anybody having better luck than me?

If you are just after 2, I would consider sourcing two original second hand items in good condition. I bought a rocker shaft with springs and rockers from a wrecker for 20 dollars (Australian). It's not ideal, however you'll be assured on quality not oil pressure issues..

I've got a big box full of rocker shaft assemblies, most are junk but I think there are one or two decent sets in there, let me know if you want me to have a proper look.

to save any future problems, and I had quite a few with these myself years ago, have a chat with Paul at v8 tuner, and get some steel ones instead

Thanks chaps, to get me back on the road now found a place nearby that actually had a few aluminium ones in stock. £13 for 2. Good idea about picking up old versions, will keep an eye out for a set. Ticking has gone now

Thanks for the offer, I would of taken you up on it but unfortunately I needed to find a solution today as the car was in the way.
