bought the car 2 months ago, nothing wrong

when i start it up, sometimes it takes holding the key for 5 seconds to get it started (when left overnight) and sometimes it starts straight away

as it goes from 0rpm to its idling rpm, which takes quarter of a second or something, it makes a loud shunt sort of noise and the engine rocks a bit, but its a split second thing, it never used to do it when i got it so its something faulty

when i floor it, sometimes it pulls strong and other times it doesent pull as strong, the power delivery is very uneven compared to how it was when i first bought it, i put my foot down and you can feel it hesitate sometimes

there is no clouds of smoke or anything

That shunt/clunk may well be the secondary flywheel mass shifting around. It doesn't bode well I'm afraid. DMFs are hideous things and it seems like every manufacturer has problems with them.

The starting problem may be down to 1 or more glow plugs that have failed. Driveability problems could be the EGR valve clogging up (common problem with EGR valves) or possible injectors that need a clean. I would go for getting the glow plugs tested/changed first then see if it drives any better.

Sounds a bit like a starter problem to me, i've replaced a few due to not dis-engaging and making a loud banging noise when the engine eventually starts.

yeh its like a loud bang/clunk, and a clunk when i turn it off

no vibration through the clutch, and engaging/disengaging the clutch doesent make any difference what so ever

im just curious about the power hesitation ive been experiencing aswell i dont know if thats linked or not in some way?
