My hosting company p*ssing me off - recommend an alternative
Discussion
Been with my current hosting company (UK2) for around 5 years, and their useless cpanel implementation and (worse still) their billing system is driving me crazy.
I have 1 block of webspace and 4 or 5 domains which share it. I use email redirection a lot (need 100+ addresses).
Can anyone recommend an alternative? My main website is a skiing club, so it's not like I'm running easyjet.com or anything, but I do need someone with good uptime and tech support (or a version of cpanel that actually works), and a billing system that works!
Oh yeah, if anyone can tell me how exactly I go about moving my domains that would be great!
Thanks,
Mike.

I've ben through all these woes over the last few years with my site www.meganesport.net
We settled on EUK host after being annoyed/deleted/pissed off by various crap hosts.
Been with them for about 2 years now and never had a single problem.

Reg1 offers great service and support, but I just cannot get along with their flavour of Ensim control panel. Drives me nuts in fact. I find WHM/cPanel much more intuitive, but I must state that's just me and YMMV.
I have a couple of VDSes from Reg1 for sites that need to be hosted in the UK, so I can vouch for the reliability and support. But if you're a cPanel kinda guy, beware!

Used www.pair.com (US based) for the last 5 or 6 years without a problem. Very reliable & you get a lot for the money I think. You get discounts if you sign up for 12 months.
