So what's it worth then?

A 350d which i have owned since new, purchased from one of the Jessops stores in Leeds.

I believe it has around 16,000 actuations on it in good condition.

It comes with an 18-55mm iirc kit lens(whichever came with the 350d).

The original Canon battery + 4 other non Canon batterys.

The Canon remote shooting lead which allows you to autofocus and take pictures (half and full press) as well as lock the button down for continuous shooting.

Also i have a 75-300mm Sigma lens with a switch to use macro mode. Not as good as a dedicated Macro lens of course but good enough to have a play to find out if its an avenue you want to explore.

I think that's everything.

You just need to add a Compact Flash card of your choice (think you can get 4gb extreme 3 from amazon for £20 ish) and your ready to learn.

Lens and camera both boxed.

Any ideas on price?

Have a scan on eBay. Find something the same / similar, and then wait until the bidding ends, and see what it goes for. Monitor a few sales to get an average. Not a bad way to see what 2nd hand equipment is selling for - at least through that medium. If it's below what you were thinking, sell it elsewhere - if OK or above - bingo.

The 2 closest went for £293 each.

I'd probably be happy with around £300ish. I wonder where is best to advertise it, i dont have a selling account on ebay and have heard of the large fees they charge.

I could give it a go.

Ideally i'd like someone to pick it all up rather than post it ideally.

You could try the following to sell (aside from the already mentioned PH)...

eBay - ask a friend with an account, or convert yours.
Local News Press - paid and freebies, most have classifieds.
Classified Press - papers people buy just to read adverts.
Gumtree.
Local Supermarkets - advert boards.
Internet forums - photography ones may require a post level prior to sale.
Local camera clubs - may have a notice board arrangement.
Ask around in the local pub...

All avenues offer a trade off between returned value and speed of sale.
