Long story short, sorted the battery, Alternator for my Tiger but after some reading finding out my alternator could have died due to over revving/heating due tot he fact it's for a Sierra and not a more revving Zetec.

So I need a larger Alternator Pully. I have a 54mm diameter, Shaft Diameter: 15mm but need a 68mm+ Diameter pully with 5-6 grooves. I can play about with the belt later as I will need a bigger size

So anyone recommened a company that sell them?

Raceline don't do them even though they are on their website

I called Brise but this is the only company I have yet found with anything like what I need

cheers

any reason why you couldn't just fit the alternator from a Zetec?

1 I don't have one
2 I don't think it will fit my raceline mounting kit.
3 Is the alternator pully from a zetec 68mm plus? and provides twice the needed AMPS needed

and last i'm not sure but now looking into it

I can talk to the lads in work Monday morning for you, we should have one lying around somewhere.

Could you upload a pic? just to make sure of the fitment.

John.

Have you looked at these? http://www.powerlite-units.com/alternator.htm

I am from near Exeter and have a Pinto Alternator going spare if yours is shot, also a Fiesta one but that's all ECU controlled.
PM me if either is of any use.

Found a alrger pully from Burton at 63mm and will fit for £14 plus P&P. If I go Brise, I'm looking at £40+ for a 75MM pully

Small, light weight, shiny. Cost not much more than new OE jobbers.
I can recommend their light weight starters as well.
