Warranty - Worth the Money?

Buying a 2006 Mini Cooper from a friend. I have two questions and would appreciate your responses:

Question 1

It has 16 months of TLC pack remaining.
I understand that this means the price of servicing has already been paid for upto the 5 year milestone?
Is it worth buying Mini warranty and if so likely cost?
