Hi all,
well after lots of research and the help of Mr Ingleby,I've taken the plunge and bought a Cerb.I collect it on Tuesday and have that feeling of trepidation and excitement that I bet most of you remember. Does anyone know this car, Reference #1548555 , I'd be gratefull for any info.

If so I think it looks great, although I think I would get the steering wheel re-trimmed in a different colour.

If it's the one in the advert - that's a lovely looking Cerb!
Welcome - you are one of a select few with one of the most exilerating cars on the planet. Also, if you have the 4.5 you probably have the "ultimate" Cerb, perhaps ulimate TVR..... (que reaction from Sag crew, or the 1 or 2 who are luck enough to have experienced the Speed 12 or Typhon?)
Dunno about your driving background (your profile is a bit "light"
), but learn the car, do some wet grip days or track days to get to know the car in a safer environment than the public road, and just ENJOY the whole experience. It will be a rollercoaster - unbelieveable highs 
and totally frustrating bang your head on a brick wall lows 
, but on balence it's probabaly the best decision you've made - it's such a special car that even driving it to Tesco's is an experience.
Get some miles under the wheels, get it fettled by a well known TVR specialist, spend the money fixing all the inevitable little "foibles" and "upgrades" to make the car truely yours, and just enjoy the whole experience..... Yes, you will end up spending more money on it than you ever planned. Yes, you will have a silly grin plastered over your face when you take it out (either cruzzin or going for a good blat). Yes, your heart should flutter when you open up the garage door and you realise that THIS IS YOUR CAR! Enjoy an almost pornographic experience washing the gorgeous voluptous curves...... (oops, is that just me?

Exactly what He says - Amazing cars, but get used to it before you hammer it, I don't kone what your Motoring background is either, but if it's from 'normal' cars, then treat it differently, and ALWAYS keep the revs low till it's warmed up.Welcome - you are one of a select few with one of the most exilerating cars on the planet.
