Do I tax it from the start of April?

Gentlemen,

Due to work and other commitments, my Cerb has been SORN since October and sitting comfortably in the heated garage on it's Optimate.

I'm seriously starting to get the itch. Should I MOT her and get her out for the Summmer a month early?

Beginning of April is when I get the cerb out every year. 6 months tax then lasts until the end of Sept which is about right... Not that I am tight or anything

Just got mine mot'd waiting to tax her come first of April.

Always tax cerb and the bikes for 6 months starting from April

Cant believe you guys restrict your enjoyment for the sake of six months tax, I know its money, but your missing out on those occasionally great winter days - besides which it not going to do cars or bikes any favors not being used for six months at a time!

Used mine all winter, just coyldn't bring my self not to, life is not a test run, this is the real thing so why limit the fun to just 6 months?

Perhaps you should all drive at 56mph and save your money on fuel??????

Get your arse in gear, get the TVR on the road where it belongs, floor the throttle, use a gear lower than is absolutely necessary to hear the pops and bangs, and just enjoy owning and driving it.

If not - get yourself a nice little diesel hatchback, subscribe to "what boring car" and watch those pennies....

Rather than tax it for 6 months I always tax for a year then send the tax in when the weather turns bad and get maybe 7 or 8 months and then you get a better ratio back.
