Dear All

Could a kind PH member give me a few minutes of their time and CAD expertise to transfer my crap drawing of a prototype electrical component onto a CAD system. I can reward with beer coupons as reqd.

Please PM me if you can help thanks. Peter

How complicated is it?

If it's not ridiculous I can do it in SolidWorks for you.

You should be able to email me through my profile.

OP

I can draw pretty much anything in CAD for you as long as you don't need it in 3D.
I run ACad all day long, drop me an email and i'll see if i can do it for you.

Thanks for all the offers. I'll e-mail one of you through your profiles in next day or so. It's not complicated and not secret it looks like this. My pathetic attempt in Word converted to a PDF.

www.solarvan.co.uk/cellclip.pdf

The item I'm trying to design is a sprung clip like a specialised bulldog clip made from sprung copper alloy, with flat faces to exert maxing clamping force on some battery tabs.

OP,

Probaby easier if you do a hand sketch, stick on the angles of the dashed lines you have on ther so i can do it perfectly.
If you want those few lines put onto cad it'll take a matter of seconds.
