V8S collected on sunday

Just bought a V8S on Sunday. So new to the forum. Never owned an older TVR before but had several newer sports cars, Cerbera/TT/Boxter etc. Drove a V8S at a dealers the week before and had to have one. Managed to buy it privately, so in at the deep end, know a little about them, but not much. so I guess i will be bothering you for advice shortly. best regards, Phil

Good choice Phil.

Bought my V8S privately. Had it inspected first, as my knowledge of TVR was limited.

You will find loads of experience and information from the members here on PH. Suggest also you buy Steve Heath's publication (bible) on the S-series, especially if you intend doing any of the maintenance yourself.

Enjoy the car. It's a great mix of driver involvement and plenty of power, sure to keep you grining from ear to ear!

Very good choice phil, I defected from a porsche Boxster S to the V8S also and I am very happy I did???
