Speedo not working. who cares, it still sounds great!

hi, my speedo has stopped working, but the milometer is still working. does anybody know if these work off separate sensors or where the sensor is mounted Gearbox or hub? any suggestions greatfully recieved

Im sure they work at the same time... But theres only three speeds in a griff anyway,,, 1 still,,,,2 fast..... 3 veryfast

possible the speedo itself or the tranduscer on the diff( depending on your car), maybe it needs adjusting to be closer to the cogs it reads from or its fubar'd..

No. I bought the car as a dooer upper. Hadn't been driven in 2 years and was left outside to rot. Finished it yesterday and took it for an mot today and noticed that I couldn't see how fast I was going past those blurred objects around me. But the milometer is ticking over nicely
