Starter and fuel pump

Hi, can nyone tell me are there variations of starter motor for the V8 or not?

Also, is this the same with the fuel pump?

there certainly are variations for the starter.i know this as i was sent the wrong type! i would suspect that pre-serp and serp are two different types.the one i was sent was for a v8s,and wouldnt fit my serp 5.0l chim.sorry,cant help with the fuel pump.

About 10 variations of starter motor for the Rover V8.
Quite a few variations on the fuel pump but they are much of a muchness.

The starter motor part number saga is in the bible. Best to get existing one reconned.
