A few days ago my Mum bought an antique clock off of ebay. The seller had over 2000 positive feedback and the item was deliver within the next couple of days. She said that when it was delivered, it was delivered by a couple of pikey looking fellas. Now we've had an email from ebay urging us not to complete a transaction outside of ebay even though we paid with paypal. The sellers account has disappeared and so have all of their listings. When they delivered my Mum signed a sheet of paper assuming it was just the standard signing for delivery thing although, like I say it wasn't delivered by a courier, instead it was delivered by a couple of pikey looking fellas in a van. We're not really sure if this is some sort of scam or if we have bought stolen goods or what is going on. Anybody know of any sort of scam or something going on?
