Singapore... whats it like in Investment over there?

I may or may not have an opportunity out there doing some type of techy job as team lead...

So I wouldnt mind find out a few things, whats the bonus culture out there like in investment banks?

I have been through the figures and the renumeration is not bad, comparable with London.

It could include relocation package.

I have been there on a reccy so know what to expect with work and lifestyle.

Is it at all possible to get the bank to sign a say 24 month contract? It would be a permanent job but leaving a good contracting job over here only to be told in 3-6 months that they are closing the job down (have heard horror stories of departments closing, etc) and be stuck there is not my idea of good as I would be out financially and giving up another job for it is not how I play.

It could all be a pipe dream and the agent puts me forward next week for a job they have been trying to fill for a while now, but thought I would get the queries in early, just in case.
