As title says really, i changed my mind about finance for a pc so gonna custom build one, plan is to build a system that can run all current and future games at highest for 2-3 years, im pretty rubbish with what goes where on these systems so if you ca give me a shopping list, i understand that a hd5850 costs 220 pound, but im sure i can make a system for 600 or even less, ideally would like to have a ddr3 ram and atleast enough wattage not to worry,

A list of parts needed and a link would be fab, i know im asking alot, but you PHers havnt let me down yet, thanks.

I haven't looked into PC components for a while so I couldn't really advise you.

However if you post a link to this thread in the gaming section of the forum, you may get some more responses.

Commenting on the gfx card alone I can highly recommend it as I've got one in my PC and it's a cracking piece of kit. It's much quieter when playing games than the NVidia 9800GT it replaced and happily runs Bad Company 2 at 1680x1050 with everything turned on with no frame rate issues.

It also runs much cooler than the 98000GT even though it's in a uATX case.
