Forza 3 - Class F Tunes?

I started racing online 2 days ago in class F, and am already annoyed by being beaten by Mk2 Gols.
I have a Rabbit GTI which is good for Amalfi, and a 94 Civic which I try to keep up on other tracks with, but it seems that unless you have an F200 Mk2 Golf you may as well not bother? Through the corners I easily reign the Golf's in, but am so far behind by the next turn that I can't make a passing move.
Does anyone have a tune to share, or one to recommend off of the storefront? Or suggestions for other cars (exc the Corrado which seems to be the same story) which can keep up with the Golf's?

I find taking the old Nissan Skyline GT-R, giving it an AWD drivetrain and uprating a few components allows me to stay mid-pack against Golfs - it's quicker off the line too, although 9/10 times I will be punted off first corner by some knob end Golf driver. Not as eager to turn as the Golf, but all in all, not a bad car.
I can stick mine up on my storefront if you want (GT - Tafferboy) - it's not really been tuned (just parts added to F199), but I like it. Staying with the classic Jap theme, I love my AWD 240Z in A class - keeps ahead of the ubiquitous S5 in most short and mid-length circuits (runs out of puff on long straights though).

This is why I don't bother playing FM3 online - if you don't drive the fastest car with a good tune then you just lose. It's no fun. I want to have interesting races
I've won quite a few R2 class races in my Merc Touring car against those Lexus GT500 racers that everyone seems to use. Some people do get very annoyed if you beat them when you're driving a slower car though, I've been punted off loads of times following a win in a slower car!

I did a few f200 Lotus elan tunes - Whenever I get a good clean lap its usually the fasted non golf on the leader board. I should have the tunes up soon when I'm happy with the quality on my storefront. Its a really fun car to drive, and not hard. With manual w/clutch you need to manage have good control of the revs on downshifts (blip the throttle) or you can lock up the rear easily
For now the thing on my storefront are old and not to great apart from the mk1 mx5, which is sooooo quick on the downhills in e class.
