Diff top bush stuck

OK I have the top bush stuck and run out of ideas how to push it the last bit



any ideas ??? and I lubed it !

Threaded bar, V large washer, nut, fix one end and then wind it in ....

This is a puller/pusher we made up with a sink drain (exactly the right diameter) . .



Or buy a Sykes Pykavant bush puller . .

can you get a large socket on the back, then wind the bush in using a G clamp?
the socket would have to be big enough to accept the bush, and sit around the edge of the tube, might be worth a go?

yes, big socket, threaded rod and nuts/washers.

As others have said pull don't push

I have a plate I put behind the bush and the threaded bar, its finding something to push the bush into. Like the sink plug clive !!!

I put a long treaded bar through the bush and a diagonal brace where the wishbone are and pulled it in. Make sure you use a few nuts on the bar as it will strip the tread.
