Hi,

I am seriously considering selling my 530d M Sport Touring. Are these in demand at the moment?
It's only covered 43K on a 55 plate, should i sell privately or trade in? I now you get stiffed on the part ex so would prefer to sell privately.

Would be intrested to see if anybody has sold one recently and how long it took?

Cheers in advance.

Start privatly, the 2 + 3d engines are very much in demand.

They are probably about 75% of BMW's stock

2005 530d M Sport Touring,
Midnight Black (although it just looks very dark blue so far as I'm concerned)
Black Leather seat silver trim
43000 miles FBMWSH
Prof Nav
Automatic
Bluetooth
Cruise control
auto lights
rain sensor wipers.

Not sure how standard all this is TBH.

I haven't sold a car privately for going on 15 years, I really want to know if it is a lot of grief or if it is easier these days.

If it's a 54plate GG says....

Excellent condition: £13750
Average condition: £12400
Below average condition: £11000

I just sold my 2005 54 plate 530d e61 for £10,300 with 97,000 m

Advertised for £10,6000. Be realistic and you will sell.
My car went within 2 days, could have sold it many times over.

That PH one is overpriced, that is why it has not sold. If you can find the others for sale similar spec and pitch it £500 ish below and using the GG values as a guide you can come up with an advertising price but don't knock much off if you think you have the right price.
When somebody phones to come and look, tell them you have a couple others coming to see it too smile

If someone told me that I would pass on seeing the car.
