Just wondering if you think the Noble was eclipsed by the GTR?

The GTR is nowhere near as good a car to drive. It's stunning for such a big beast but less comfortable and less involving. That said it's quicker in most real road situations and you can take liberties that would have you in a broken Noble...

But the noble's only done 800 miles since the GTRs arrival 8500 miles ago. Now I know this is exactly the wrong time to be selling but I thought if I set fire tothe platform it would make me decide whether to a) new Noble b) commit to the MClaren c) look at Lee's new product d)grow up and buy a GT3..

Any thoughts?

McLaren's ages away and they've yet to ask for a deposit.
Noble have not been in touch since the unveiling.
Lee's car will be a while and, like some others here I'd like to see how early customer cars stand up before committing.

You done the Cateraham thing yet? My cars being serviced at the mo' and I'm toying with selling the Nob when it's back, to get a Caterham/Atom thingy before my arthritus stops me getting in one!

I've got a 600bhp GTR for the weekend N2H so I'll see what all the fuss is about

I think you should hang around as you say and test the McLaren, 458 and Lee's new thingy.

I used to do that all the time with a couple of mates. My Noble and two lightweights max fun for minimum cost :-)

Seriously though, you have heard nothing from Noble? I thought they were meant to be delivering it in about 5 weeks!?

The new 458 does look pretty tempting, the Macca just doesn't look quite right to me. Will be interesting to see what Lee does produce, it's just WHEN. Mind you I also have a thing for the new GT3 RS at the moment, it looks awesome.

As others have said, the Caterham thing is also tempting. You should sign up for the Academy.

And talking of GTR's... picked mine up last week.

I didn't think it would ever happen but it seemed silly given she wasn't getting used.
I'll definately have another at some point..wonder how long I can hold out.
I have this kind of anti brand thing with the Fezza (and I am middle aged and paunchy so people would assume I'd just got divorced and was looking for a younger model).
So...fun car for now and wait for the right one.
