In the process of refitting the floor and have the diffuser back on - quick question if anyone can see - does the engine floor pan fit under the diffuser or below it. Where do the screws bite as there is no frame where they join so one of them acts as to secure the fixing?

Thanks

EDIT - I am presuming the diffuser fastens to the engine floor pan but would appreciate confirmation as the fastening I am using are larger than the originals so will cut a larger hole.

The engine cover goes below the diffuser, ie the screws go through the ally and bite into the fibreglass.

When I put mine back on I added a strip of drilled ally on top of the diffuser to give the screws something to bite into (if that makes sense)!!!
