If you have a boy of a certain age (6-10 maybe)then you know exactly what they are. If you don't, you won't.

Bain of my bloody life that's what they are. I have just found this in a kitchen drawer - about 800,000 of the damn things, and these are the extras (or swaps as we used to call them in my day)

It would appear that a vast chunk of my money has been pored into the damn things.

Kids rolleyes Who's have 'em?

Great fun picking them up when when sprogs picks up the folder thing they go in upside down. You would have thought that the designers could have come up with something better!

I used to love collecting stickers when I was a kid, it was probably good for me because all of my money went on them instead of chocolate

totally agree....the 12 year old spent hundreds of pounds on this st and never completed the full set......they now sit on the bedroom floor, untouched for months.

There is a number of swap sites if they are looking for some random ones but like all these crap things they only ever issue three of one you need to complete it!

Hundreds of them sitting in my sons bedroom too. Keeps him occupied for hours though and he now recognises many of the players on telly on a Sunday afternoon, so I don't mind too much.

He need a few to complete his first collection and some of them were going for stupid money on eBay, so I picked up loads pretty cheaply on eBid. Quite a few were only 10p each, compared to £1 (or more) on the bay.

I just asked my son about this. Apparently he likes swapping them with his mates.

RSE "That's good. Have you swapped any good ones recently?"

RSE jr "No. No-one else likes swapping"

RSE "Great!"

The old charm obviously rubbed off a treat.

I would tell him to give them up and take up spelling lessons instead, lest he end up like his old man.....

I remember these, I had a few but my mates were mad about them, used to cause a lot of arguments! Also Pokémon cards!
