PS3 Fans

After playing BF:BC2 for 3/4 hours the other night I noticed the fans were going a bit, not 100% but I'd estimate 60% or enough to be fairly loud, is this normal or is mine a bit clogged up?
I've not done the power on fan trick but I'm not convinced that'll clean it out anyway.

If it gets hot the fans come on. Mine does it as well... Hopefully it is not a problem !

I notice mine come on after being on for 15 minutes!

Guess it all depends on where its placed, how hot the room is and what your doing on the PS3 ! Mine usually come on after 10 - 15 mins of gaming on a 60GB full fat one.

Fair enough, it's never done it on any other game though.

The fans are loud, it is normal.

Could make use of air can or compressor once every few months to blow out some dust. This will keep things running properly and cool.

My 60GB release model started doing this, 2 months later it died. YLOD!! A friends did the same a week later. The slim model is very quite can hardly hear it's on.
