Would be interested to hear peoples feedback on having the geo checked. Owned Elise for 2 years and only drive on the road, suppose it depends how good/bad mine is but does it generally make a noticable difference ?.

depends how far it is out and what set-up you already have ....some may barely notice, others will say it transformed their car

...car setup is a personal thing - a good specialist will give you a report on what it is at now, what factory settings are (if you have an un modded car) and some recommendations on how to set it up for your type of driving

I tried a few different ones over the years until I was happy with one in particular....

If it ain't broke why fix it?

Take the car to a speciliast that understands the Elise and work from there.

Its what I did and as my demands on the car changed so did the geo - miles off standard in the end but so was the suspension!!

Geo is mmore than 'tracking' so you're local Qwik-Fit/tyre fitters probably won't be properly up to the job.

Don't be blinded by claims of laser kit - its the man using the kit that's important.

After I fitted my nitrons and bedded in, I took my car to a "specialist" to check the geo, it was adjusted, thought nothing more about it.
A couple of years later had Sinclaires check the geo, to find that the settings were all over the place! both front and back were the same ride height! Now have the 160 settings.
