Travel credit cards
Discussion
Me and the other half are off travelling for a year in may and have been looking at getting one of the many prepaid credit cards available as we feel the security aspect of having a card not linked to our bank account is an advantage just wondered if anyone has any experience with using them abroad and which ones are best?
What a great idea, I am waiting to see anyones experience with these. I had a quick look and this site seems to give a good bit of info' : http://www.compareandsave.com/dealfinder/everyday-... although it would be good to hear some first-hand views on these.

Amex do one. But why not just get travellers cheques? much more secure and replaceable if lost
Just done the same thing myself (mainly to get round Ryainair's card charges)...
