Looked good in the pictures and certainly priced well! Not much info in the advert. at least it was worth travelling 500+ miles for. And another 500 miles next weekend!!

Well, you know how tightfisted I am...least there'll be somewhere to stand my pint, if ever I can afford to buy one again. frown

Let's see... £1.20 a litre, that's £5.44 a gallon. Average 18mpg (if you're lucky) and the 155 miles from your place to Ettington will cost you £47.
Beer at Ettington Chase is £3.95 a pint, a rubdown from Stacey on Reception will be another £55 and the speeding fine when the red mist comes down after that chavtastic 206 gives you the bird another £60.

On your pension you'll have to live on Aldi medium white sliced and chipfat for a month when you get back biggrin

Nice one!

Is that the grey 390SE in my neck of the woods? I'm guessing it must be Kent as it's showing as only 16 miles from me... I spotted it whilst trawling the net over the weekend and I thought if it was a good'un it wouldn't hang around at that price for long!

Hope it gives you many miles of joy driving

Thanks Rick, yes, probably is that car.

Pity I didn't have time to call in on my brother, who only lives in T.Wells.

Has to be the worst trip ever, coming back. Every damned stretch of road being repaired, 50 limit for miles on the M1, stretches of A1 totally CLOSED. mad

I could have done the trip much quicker 35 years ago in a comfy mk3 Cortina...95 all the way, and no blinkin cams. irked

We are all please that you have again slipped to a bottomless pit for spending your cash, either doing them up or dreaming of the next, maybe a SEAC (or is that only me).
I ve been out this weekend in mine a couple of hundred miles round trip to Stratford, the tivs are not that quick, bits fall off but I enjoyed every minute whilst behind the wheel.(even the wife enjoyed the roof down, maybe not so much when it the rained)
Its pleasing to see you have enjoyed many..many different cars and have been drawn back to the V8
stephen
P.S. how you getting to kent, I could give you a lift part way, say from mansfield to milton keynes (only room for one though )
