Natural global warming - volcano style
Discussion
Most of us have probably seen the pictures of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano erupting.
It seems each time this long dormant volcano erupts, it triggers its neighbour, the Katla volcano. Katla is handily placed under a glacier, and last time it erupted in 1755, the fresh water flow was estimated at up to 400,000 cubic metres per second.
The combined average flow from the Amazon, Nile, Mississippi and Yangtze rivers is 290,000 cubic metres per second
