Hi all,

I have a 53 plate E46 M3. It has Continental Contisport tyres. The runflat light came on today, are these tyres runflats? I didn't think they were, all the tyres seem alright so what could the light mean?

Cheers,

Ed.

M cars dont use runflats.

It is your tyre pressure sensor. Check the pressures - mine comes on after about 0.5 bar has been lost.

Once your desired pressures are set, hold down the tyre pressure set button until the info comes up then drive for at least 10 miles for it to set.

Ah I see. Thanks for that, it confused me that they call it a runflat indicator in the handbook.

Thanks again,

Ed.
