Hi,
I need to refurb my chassis, can any one tell me how difficult this is, Ive been running through my head what I need to remove to lift the body off,has anyone done this and do any of you have a rough list off things to be removed and disconnected? Is it any easier to lift the body just enough to get at the chassis better, or is it better to take the whole body off?
any help would be very appreciated.
all the best

Hi

Which model of "Wedge" is yours?

The info on the webb pages cover's a 400 were if you have an earlier car the removal and rebuild is different.

Hi

I did a part lift, about 9" to rebuild my out riggers and alowed me to inspect, clean, paint the chassis.
I didnt find lifting the boady all that bad, I used 2 jacks and blocks of wood and inched it upwards.
I didnt have to disconnect to much to do the job and when it was bolted back down I used SS bolds, nylock nuts SS washers and new rubber packers

May be on day ill have a proper boady off.
