Morning people,

I was having a clear out of my cupboards the other day & found a couple of old digital cameras.
Both work, but have smashed screens.
Ones a Casio Exilim - not sure exact model number but mnaybe about 7MP.
The other is a Canon Ixus 40.
I appreciate that they're old & probably insignificant cameras but does anyone know of a site that does cash for cameras?
Like they do for old mobiles?
Don't mind if i get a tenner for them, as it'll be going into the pot to save up for baby stuff's!
Any help much appreciated.
Cheers.

Royal Mail "simply drop" advertise that they will take cameras, mp3 players and phones on our local radio smile

On a similar theme, what can I do with old memory cards? I have a 1GB, some 512MB compact flash cards cluttering up my desk, and somewhere I must have a stash of 256MB cards as well I think. A 512MB card in a 5D MkII would allow about 20 frames I think, so not really much use. Anyone want them?

I'll happily take them if you don't want them. I've got an old 300D that I use when people want photography lessons and you can get quite a few on in that.

Sure - send me your address and I'll pop them in the post. Do you teach photography?

Giving them away is the only real choice - they're only worth pennies these days.

I seem to have been collecting MicroSD cards of late - 128meg, 512, 1gig .... along with the 2x8gig and the 4gig card that I had in the phones. Just keeping them ready for the big holiday later on in the year, don't want to run out of storage!

Sorry i forgot to say that both the screens are smashed on the cameras.
One happened in a sledging accident (on the ixus 40).
Although i have had the ixus repaired before for the same fault.
Clonmult i've emailed you back.
Your welcome to both the cameras if you want to get them repaired or make use of them as i'm only going to bin them!.

I got the mail earlier, blasted corporate e-mail won't allow reply to hotmail ....

Was considering it as either an occasional backup for myself, or maybe for my mum (she's got some knackered canon digicam that barely lasts for 10 shots).
