Its all in the title really.

Do many bikes share the track at once?
Less wear and tear?

Think its because most bike days are sessioned rather than open pit lane. I assume thats why anyway.

Numbers. You can run many more bikes than cars.

They become more expensive in the summer though. Weather affects bikes more than cars !

As above really. You'll run maybe 40 bikes on a circuit that will only take 25 cars, break it up into three sessions for the bikes and you've got 120 entries whereas an open pit car day would run without queueing on only low 50s, max 60. Twice the number, half the price.
