Does this include traffic "calming" ? I'm sure that anything that impedes traffic flow & makes it move slower than 80% of the legal speed limit is illegal.....?

Consider the chicane tactics, where we now play mexican standoff with fast car vs 4x4's every day. Can this be a legal way of planning a road?

Is there anything that can be done to reverse traffic calming? I like wide roads and higher speed limits and no humps.

While we're on a rant, if I don't give express written permission to be photographed, aren't the authorities breaking the law with all the surveillance cameras/gatsos ?

There must a *legal* challenge somewhere.

Some years ago i dabbled in Photography a fair bit and I am sure if my memory serves me right you own the Copyright to ANY Photograph of YOU, the problem is the Authorities dont publish them do they? (not normally anyway unless it's a MUG shot!

how about wearing a Balaclava when walking or a mask when driving?, and yes I know this was suggested elswhere but I think it's a good idea to protect your Privacy!

I'm fairly sure the copyright lies with the photographer, not the subject.

What about image rights? Didn't Eric Cantona do that? Could you register yourself/your image as a trademark? If so, would that mean the scamera partnership could be taken to court for taking your picture without permission?

Now this has definately got possibilities

Now better still get a dateless number place and register the number on the plate as your trademark, which would mean even so much as writing on a parking ticket would be an infringement
