Bags for Split Roof Conversion

Hi All,

Ive had my roof split by S&D, but I would like two separate bags to store them in, so that they dont rub together and bugger up the edges or the roof fabric when I store them in the boot. Has anyone had something like this made up? If so, could you let me know what they look like, where can I get them and an idea of cost please? Thanks.

How about seeking a pair of S bags. Try asking on the S forum.

I have a pair of bags for my roof.
They just look like smaller versions of the big bag. Just a U shape with velcro to seal the top edge.
Cost me nothing as the guy who made my car bra made them as a favour, but i don't suppose they would cost much more than a tenner or so really.

If I were to have them made again I'd have the seal as a small roll over flap like big brown envelope, because you could make the bag smaller and neater, especially as the smaller panels are easy to handle single handed.

Cant you just cut a big bag in half, get the bottom of the top half stiched and hey two bags?

Yes and no big geoff.
Or at least I don't think I've got pictures but I'll have a look when I get chance and if not I'll get a few.

Its still kind of work in progress, but thats only because I'm making minor tweaks to get it to fit better, especially at speed.
