My wander to bus on way home takes me past the roadworks in West George St leading on to George sq
The ones with West George st middle lane coned off for half a block with a 5m high electronic sign advising of roadworks and how long they will be on for, the one with numerous 3m sq lane closed diversion signs in vicinity, the one with road closed barriers across the road ( with gap for workers access) the one with 2m high barriers blocking road in the roadworks with a bemused woman wondering why she cant continue through to George Sq
How do these folk get their driving licence!

Like the IDIOTS that drive down Princes Street looking about as if to say "this is weird, I appear to be the only car driving through a town centre.... oh well i'll keep going"...!!!
The best one I ever saw was a woman driving over the path on Princes Street to get out of Castle Street, onto Princes Street, thinking it was a road. THEN driving OVER the middle embankment to do a U-turn to head towards the West End..
Really makes you wonder.

Festival time is worst. You can see the visitors to the city following their sat navs, even when the traffic flow, road markings and signs say something completely different! The best one I ever saw was a woman driving over the path on Princes Street to get out of Castle Street, onto Princes Street, thinking it was a road.
