Just read in the papers that the Government is planning to introduce a £5000 max. grant for low carbon emitting cars in 2011.The grant would seem to apply to electrics, plug in electric hybrids and Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
Want to reconsider that V8 ?

Make the cars fun to drive and more suitable to Britain's declining quality of roads, then why not.
Britain could be a leader in the future with more forward thinking. Coupled with a grant for solar panels at home, there could be cheap fun motoring on the horizon.

Have to say YES.

Just waiting for that £5k for my old Audi A8 and I'll have one.

Actually hoping that BYD from China will be on sale in 2011.
I'd be happy with their F3DM as my daily commuter.
(But then I have the Tiv for the weekend!)

Their E6 may end up being a bit pricy for me, I'm waiting to see what they are asking for it.
Thing is BYD have a battery that is way better than the rest.
